Stephanie joined Life Works in 2022 following years of working in community mental health and vocational rehabilitation. Most recently, she was a Clinical Supervisor for Clinicians, Crisis workers, Case Managers and Peer Mentors with Supported Employment and Supported Housing. Stephanie is also a certified Mental Health Investigator.
Stephanie’s therapeutic style provides a safe, non-judgmental and comfortable place to address issues and concerns. Starting with respect for the uniqueness of each individuals she sees, Stephanie helps clients identify choices and to develop a life around their core values, morals and beliefs. She believes healing involves transforming our relationship to past hurts, finding strength, discovering greater self-confidence, and embracing creative possibilities as we navigate the challenges of life.
While integrating her clients’ core values with a trauma-informed and strength-based approach, Stephanie utilizes combinations of therapies to best suit your needs, including Humanistic Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
